Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation IT/OT Specialist

What You Will Work On

• Identify and evaluate automation opportunities within existing production facilities
• Analyze production equipment and recommend automation improvements
• Design and propose industrial automation solutions
• Develop User Requirement Specifications (URS)
• Prepare technical documentation and procurement specifications
• Support vendor selection and technical evaluations
• Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and system testing
• Support implementation and deployment of DCS-based automation solutions
• Evaluate automation technologies for future production systems
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and IT/OT teams
• Ensure compliance with automation standards and validation requirements
• Support system integration and industrial communication solutions
• Participate in change control and documentation activities
• Drive continuous improvements within automation and OT environments

What You Bring

• Several years of experience delivering automation solutions in manufacturing environments
• Strong expertise in Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
• Experience with DCS design, integration, implementation, and commissioning
• Good understanding of Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and automation networks
• Experience working in regulated industries with validation and documentation requirements
• Experience with change control and quality documentation
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Ability to work across engineering and business teams
