Power BI Developer

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a Junior to Intermediate Power BI Developer to support the transformation toward a more data-driven organization. This role focuses on building a centralized analytics ecosystem by replacing fragmented and manual reporting processes with automated, scalable, and insight-driven dashboards.

You will contribute to consolidating performance data across multiple business entities, enabling consistent evaluation frameworks and supporting data-backed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
• Consolidate data from multiple sources into unified and reliable data models
• Transform manual reporting processes into automated and scalable BI solutions
• Develop dashboards with intuitive visualizations, drill-down capabilities, and standardized metrics
• Ensure data accuracy, validation, auditability, and proper version control practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements
• Translate business needs into effective BI solutions and data models
• Optimize report performance using DAX and data modeling best practices
• Streamline and automate data pipelines to improve reporting efficiency
• Support the full BI lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Provide clear documentation and post-deployment support for BI solutions
• Communicate insights and technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders

Required Experience:

• Relevant experience in Power BI development (Junior to Intermediate level)
• Hands-on experience in data modeling, report development, and dashboard design
• Exposure to end-to-end BI solution delivery

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service)
• Solid experience with DAX and Power Query
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Lake)
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and BI architecture best practices
• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques in Power BI
• Familiarity with governance, documentation standards, and release processes
• Ability to work with multiple data sources and integrate them effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills

Preferred / Additional Skills:

• Experience working in collaborative environments with version control and peer reviews
• Exposure to large-scale data environments and performance-driven BI solutions
• Ability to contribute to early-stage solution design and architecture discussions

Language Requirement:

• English – Professional proficiency (both written and spoken)

Job Mode: On-site (minimum 3 days/week)
