Antenna Design Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Antenna Design Engineer to join us as a consultant on assignment with one of our leading clients. The assignment involves end-to-end development of cutting-edge antennas for radar sensor systems, with a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and millimeter-wave performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and validate advanced antenna systems — including 77 GHz dual-polarized arrays and low-profile wideband antennas.
• Carry out full development cycles: EM simulation, fabrication, measurement, and optimization.
• Work with tools like HFSS, CST, ADS, MATLAB, and Python to design and analyze antenna performance.
• Conduct hands-on measurements using VNA, spectrum analyzers, anechoic/reverb chambers, and other test equipment.
• Collaborate with client teams including radar system engineers and RF designers.
• Analyze data, produce technical documentation, and support IP filings or academic dissemination as needed.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in antenna design and testing.
• Proven knowledge in:
• Automotive radar systems (especially 77 GHz)
• Compact dual-polarized and reconfigurable antennas
• Low-loss/high-efficiency structures
• Hands-on lab experience with advanced RF measurement tools and environments.
• Fluent in English; strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GapWaveguide antenna designs
• Exposure to microcontroller-based reconfigurable antennas
• Background in radar system-level design or integration
