Senior Finance Controller - Stockholm

Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Controller / Senior Accountant for a full-time consulting assignment with a leading company in the green steel industry.

This is a broad and hands-on finance role combining advanced accounting, financial controlling, process improvement and ERP implementation. You will work in a dynamic industrial environment undergoing significant development and change.

Main responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily accounting activities and month-end closing

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and manage intercompany transactions

• Prepare and handle VAT reporting

• Manage CAPEX, fixed assets and related accounting classifications

• Participate in ERP implementation activities; experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is highly desirable

• Establish, improve and document financial processes and internal controls

• Assist with audits and statutory reporting

• Work closely with stakeholders across different functions within the organisation

Your background

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within accounting, financial controlling or a similar finance position

• Solid knowledge of Swedish GAAP/K3

• Extensive hands-on experience with reconciliations, intercompany accounting, VAT, CAPEX and fixed assets

• Previous experience working in an industrial environment, ideally within production, inventory or logistics

• Experience participating in ERP implementation projects is considered an advantage

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is highly desirable

• Excellent written and spoken English
