At ARKET, we create products that matter — premium essentials made to last, with a strong focus on quality, longevity and a modern lifestyle perspective. As part of our brand, you’ll work with a product offering where collections are built to connect across categories, and where both fashion and home play an important role in shaping the customer experience.
We are now looking for a Junior Buyer to join the Womenswear Jersey team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys the commercial side of buying and is especially motivated by sales analysis, quantification and turning numbers into actions. The role has a strong business and planning focus, while also being connected to product, fittings, samples and the day-to-day execution of the buying process.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Contribute to building the product range based on visual goals, sales performance, growth potential and profitability.
- Work in a role with a strong commercial and analytical element, where quantification, forecasting and business-minded decision-making are central parts of the job.
- Constantly follow up on sales, analyze performance and suggest relevant commercial actions.
- Support order placement and follow-up to secure smooth execution throughout the buying process.
- Work with quantity planning and budget follow-up together with the Business Controller.
- Prepare fitting sessions, take notes and communicate actions to relevant stakeholders.
- Handle samples, including campaign samples, development samples and press samples, and ensure strong administrative coordination around them.
- Identify customer needs and keep up to date with what is happening around your target customer and market.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
In this role, you’ll work closely with your Senior Buyer, as well as with the Business Controller on planning and quantification, and with the PO team in daily communication connected to fittings, product updates and sample handling.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with…
- Strong confidence working with quantification, forecasting and business-driven planning.
- Experience from a buying-related role or other relevant work experience within fashion or a commercial product environment.
- A strong interest in fashion and products.
- Good understanding of sales follow-up, commercial analysis and turning insights into actions.
- Ability to manage administration, order follow-up and sample coordination in a structured way.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with both buying and production-related teams.
And people who are...
- Action-oriented and comfortable taking initiative.
- Business-minded, curious and motivated by seeing measurable results.
- Engaging and motivated by contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Clear and straightforward communicators.
- Effective in how they prioritize and drive work forward.
- Structured, responsible and able to handle a role with a significant administrative component.
